Fenntartható jólét/Sustainable wealth

A fenti térképen az látható, hogy mennyire fenntartható egy ország jóléte az emberi és természeti erőforrások felhasználása szempontjából. Minél zöldebb egy ország, annál nagyobb jólétet tud biztosítani a lakóinak úgy, hogy a természeti és emberi erőforrásokat felelősen használja fel. Ez azt jelenti, hogy gazdag, kevéssé szennyezi a környezetet és nagyjából változatlan a lakossága. Nem szaporodik túl, de nem is hal ki a lakossága.

Az index az egy főre jutó vásárlóerő paritáson mért GDP és a termékenységi fenntarthatósági index szorzata osztva az egy főre jutó üvegházhatású gázok mennyiségével.

The map above shows how sustainable a country's prosperity is in terms of its use of human and natural resources. The greener a country is, the more prosperity it can provide its residents by using its natural and human resources responsibly. This means it is wealthy, pollutes the environment less, and its population is largely stable. It is not overpopulating, but its population is not dying out either.

The index is the product of GDP per capita measured in purchasing power parity and the fertility sustainability index divided by the amount of greenhouse gases per capita.
